Vertiv Deploys 30 MW High-Density
Liquid Cooling Infrastructure
at Navi Mumbai Data Centre
Vertiv has reported the successful delivery
of a direct-to-chip high-density liquid
cooling deployment at CapitaLand India
Trust's CLDC Mumbai 01 data centre in
Airoli, Navi Mumbai.
Designed to support 30 megawatts of
artificial intelligence workloads,
the installation uses Vertiv's Secondary
Fluid Network technology to circulate
coolant through a closed-loop system.
The deployment reflects the increasing
importance of engineered liquid-cooling
systems as data centres accommodate
higher computing densities and rising
heat loads.
Industry Perspective:
Large-scale liquid cooling requires
dependable coolant distribution,
thermal performance, system balancing,
pressure integrity and careful
commissioning. These requirements
extend the relevance of established
heat exchanger engineering into
emerging digital infrastructure.
Valeo Introduces Advanced Aluminium
Cooling Technology for Data Centres
Global automotive technology supplier
Valeo has presented an advanced aluminium
heat exchanger solution for data centre
thermal management at the Open Compute
Project Global Summit 2026.
According to Valeo, its technology
demonstrated a 38% increase in cooling
capacity and a 25% reduction in electrical
consumption against its stated comparison
baseline.
Technical Insight:
Aluminium heat exchangers offer
opportunities for lower weight,
improved packaging and scalable
manufacturing. Performance must also
be evaluated against operating
conditions, corrosion resistance
and durability requirements.
AKG Expands Global Aluminium
Heat Exchanger Manufacturing Capacity
Heat exchanger manufacturer AKG Group
has placed an order with SELLACAN for
two controlled-atmosphere brazing
furnace systems.
The new installations are planned
for AKG facilities in Brazil and China,
adding to existing installations in
India, Mexico and Germany.
The furnace technology supports
the manufacture of cooling equipment
used in construction machinery,
agricultural equipment, power
generation and other demanding
industrial applications.
Manufacturing Insight:
Controlled-atmosphere brazing is
an important production process
for aluminium heat exchanger
assemblies. Repeatable joining
conditions help support manufacturing
consistency and product reliability.
New Climate Technologies Target
Data Centre Energy and Cooling Demand
A Reuters report highlights emerging
technologies intended to reduce
the energy and water demands
of increasingly powerful data centres.
Developments discussed include
fluid-based direct-to-chip cooling,
recovery and reuse of waste heat,
and alternative energy infrastructure.
Industry Perspective:
Thermal management is increasingly
becoming a complete systems-engineering
challenge, combining heat removal,
energy efficiency, fluid circulation
and heat recovery.
What These Developments Mean
for Industrial Cooling
The latest developments across
cooling infrastructure and
heat exchanger manufacturing
indicate the importance of
thermal efficiency, material
selection and process reliability.
Industrial radiators, generator
cooling systems, oil coolers,
charge-air coolers and liquid
cooling systems share important
engineering fundamentals:
effective heat transfer,
fluid-flow management,
corrosion protection,
mechanical strength and
dependable pressure integrity.
As equipment power density
increases, appropriate cooling
design and accurate manufacturing
become increasingly important
to operational reliability.
Ajanta Radiators,
a Mumbai-based industrial radiator
manufacturing and cooling solutions
business with manufacturing roots
dating to 1970, follows these
developments as part of its
industry knowledge initiative.
